It all comes down to this ...

I firmly believe that each of us have influence on people in our world, regardless of "where" we are. For me, I bump into people in a few different pockets of life ... I have a family of 4 with 2 young kids, I run a small retail business in a small town, I have a few hobbies I pour into (mostly - golfing, the Yankees, MSU Bobcats and cross country skiing), and I serve a lot at my local church. In each of those areas, I interact with people that I could potentially influence.
At this point, I feel called to be a bit more "open source" with my life ... how we run our business, how we parent our kids, why we tithe from our business, etc, etc. I live each day in the middle of this unique intersection of running a BUSINESS, balancing "LIFE" (family, hobbies, serving, etc) and viewing all of that through a lense of a HOPE that surpasses all understanding. I plan on sharing insights on all of these things and I hope that my experience can be a positive influence on those that follow along.
I challenge you with this ... what influence do you have on others? Positive? Negative? Do you need to work on that? How can you use your influence to benefit others?
